                   Group Fitness, Active Adult Fitness and Adult/Youth Boxing Fitness Description

GROUP FITNESS:

BODY SCULPT: In our Body Sculpt class we focus on a strength training workout that combines flexibility and cardiovascular conditioning while using various weight and resistant equipment. Great for beginning and intermediate fitness levels.

CARDIO BLAST: This is a high-intensity class full of fun cardio and agility that will leave you sweating!! Each class will be its own unique challenge incorporating interval workouts, kickboxing moves, speed drills, stations, and more! Bottom line, this class will push and motivate you to get in shape!!

CARDIO BOX: You’ll enjoy high-intensity drills while burning 300-600 calories. A cardiovascular workout consisting of jabs, hooks, uppercuts and kicks designed to get you on your way to a leaner body and a healthier state of mind. No equipment is used and gloves are not required.

LOTUS FLOW YOGA:  Blending many styles including Hatha, Kundalini, and traditional Asthanga-Vinyasa. This form of yoga challenges the limits of the body and the mind while synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures & asanas. Results are improved circulation, a tight and tone body and a quiet mind.

PILATES: This class challenges you through a series of exercises creating balance in the body through developing both strength and flexibility to totally reshape your body. the results are improved balance and control from the “Powerhouse (The Core)” tones and builds long lean muscles, increases bond density, enhances mind and body connections, decreases back pain, improves circulation and increases mobility.

POMPANO PUMP: Participants choose their weights bases on the exercise and their personal goals. Major muscle groups are worked via series of compound and isolation-based exercises including squats, presses and dead lifts. The focus is to sculpt the body while improving strength and agility.

QIGONG: Is an ancient Chinese form of holistic self healing and energy medicine. An active standing meditation, breathing techniques and slow fluid coordinated movements

ZUMBA®: Are you ready to party yourself into shape? Forget the workout, just lose yourself in the music and find yourself in shape at the original dance-fitness party. Zumba® classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and International beats. Before you know it, you’ll be getting fit and your energy levels will be soaring! It’s easy to do. effective and totally exhilarating.

ACTIVE ADULT FITNESS:

SILVERSTRENGTH: For seniors who are fit and active looking for a challenge. A low-impact aerobic workout combined with upper and lower body strength exercises, abdominal conditioning, stretching and relaxation.

SILVERSNEAKERS® CLASSIC: Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles & a Silver Sneakers ball are offered for resistance.A chair used for seated and/or standing support.

SITFIT YOGA: Move your whole body through a series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chairs provide support for various postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Breathing exercise and a relaxation period reduce stress and improve mental clarity.

ZUMBA GOLD®: Perfect for active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower intensity.

 

YOUTH BOXING FITNESS

JUNIOR ROCKY: Learn proper boxing stance, footwork and individual combination punching. Develop defense sills and learn blocks and slips. Workout using heavy bag, target mitt work and situation sparring. As well it provides excellent condition-calisthenics, ply metric drills.

OUT REACH CLASS:

SPECIAL NEEDS BOXING: BOXING FOR LIFE, LLC: A non-contact boxing circuit for those with special needs. These holistic classes promote improved motor skills, core strength, enhanced social skills, team building, self confidence and overall well being.
